Social Events Bookings:
This is to clarify that those wishing to book for future YRA Social Events, an envelope with all your details, preferences, and payments (Cash or Cheque), submitted to Lynne Somerville - 21 Yaverland Close, before the due date, will suffice. There is no need to print the booking slips if you don’t have access to printing facilities.

Sandown Bowls Club Parking:
Parking is available for our social events under the trees (not in the council car park). Its IMPORTANT to register your car number plate on the Bowls Club tablet located by the entrance door (even if its just to collect or drop a member off). Anyone parking in the tarmac marked parking bays of the council car park have to pay at the machine.

Condolences:
Richard Hirons of Meadow Way, has passed away. Our thoughts and condolences go out to Janet and family at this very sad time.Those wishing to pay their respects are invited to form a Dog Guard of Honour in Meadow Way on 5 March 2024 at 14:10.

YRA Facebook Group Alerts:
This has proven to be a very effective tool updating/alerting members of issues on the estate. There has been a few security incidents that have been posted and reported to the Police with regards to vehicle and property vandalism in Culver Way, and persons lurking at the back of properties in Yaverland Close. Currently we have 69 members in our FBook group.

Please note our Facebook Group is private and open to YRA members ONLY. To ensure this, membership questions are tailored so to exclude those trying to join who are not current YRA members.
