Membership: Please encourage new neighbours and residents to join. We hope to maintain and add new memberships. The Newsletter will be distributed to ALL residents in November 2023. The annual membership fees will remain at £3 per household. Current fees for 2023/2024 will be collected as soon as possible.
Event Venues: We are in the process of securing more convenient venues for our Socials. Currently the venues will remain at Sandown Bowls Club but Browns Golf is a possibility if the revamp of the facilities go ahead in 2024.
Volunteers: We would welcome any help from those not keen to join the committee officially but willing to assist with the many tasks of running the social club, even if just on an ad hoc basis. Please speak to us if you are willing to volunteer your time.
Newsletter & Website: We now have a website. Paper copies of Newsletters will still be distributed to members without online access. A link to the Newsletter will also be available online for download or can be electronically sent to your email account.
New Facebook Group: Join our NEW Facebook Group that’s private to members only, with Social Event reminders etc.
Yaverland Coastal Defense Scheme Consultation: For those that missed the Drop-in public exhibition held at Wildheart Sanctuary, Sandown in Oct, you can also view it at Shanklin on 8, 9 & 10th Nov from 10:00 -15:00 at The Clifton, 1 Queens Road, Shanklin, PO37 6AN. The Feedback form can be completed ONLINE. Paper copies are also available at Sandown Library. Please return completed questionnaires to Sandown Library. Consultation closes 1st Dec 2023.
